Bubur Lambuk Distribution during the month of Ramadhan 1439 Hijrah
A Collaboration between Jasmine Food Corporation Sdn Bhd and Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd
Kuala Lumpur – June 3, 2018, Sunday. The distribution of bubur lambuk was held at Pasar Seni MRT Station. Bubur lambuk is a unique delicacy that has its own demand and following among Malaysian Muslims that is synonymous with the month of Ramadhan. This is Jasmine Food’s 2nd collaboration with Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, and it is a part of our Customer Engagement initiative. The first collaboration was held in 2017. We distributed 3,000 packs of bubur lambuk at selected interchanges and busy stations along the LRT Kelana Line.
This year, we distributed 3,400 packs along the Sg Buloh- Kajang MRT Line as well as at selected LRT and KTM interchanges:
• Sg Buloh Station- interchange with KTM
• Mutiara Damansara Station – Ikea
• Bandar Utama Station – BU Shopping Centre
• Muzium Negara – interchange with Kelana line
• Pasar Seni Station- interchange with Kelana line
• Merdeka Station – interchange with Ampang Line
• Bukit Bintang Station- interchange with Monorail
• Maluri Station – Aeon Maluri Centre
• Kajang Station – interchange with KTM Komuter.
This year’s bubur lambuk was prepared by Ustazah Hafiz Yatim from the Ara Damansara Mosque using his family’s traditional recipe. Jasmine’s rice was used in the preparation. Last year’s bubur lambuk was cooked and prepared at Al Bukhary Mosque.
