Jasmine Collaboration With National Blood Center
Launch of the Blood Donation Campaign in collaboration with National Blood Center, distributing 500g of Jasmine product to each donor.

Shah Alam, 11.03.2017 – Jasmine Food Corporation Sdn Bhd is cooperating with National Blood Center to appreciate the first 100 blood donors with a packet of 500g of Jasmine product and a pack of “Nasi lemak” at selected Blood Donation Campaign nationwide. Through this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, Jasmine is expected to donate about 25 tons of rice, benefiting thousands of donors.

In line with this partnership, Jasmine and National Blood Centre held a press conference at the Giant Klang Sentral to launch the new initiative.

Meanwhile, National Blood Center also held blood donation activities at the conference site to further promote this meaningful activity. In addition to the distribution of rice, Jasmine also prepared “Nasi Lemak” that is cooked with Jasmine Basmathi PusaCream  healthy rice for all the donors. This rice product is famous with its super long body, fragrance, fluffy texture, and also its low glycemic index (GI).

“Jasmine Food Corporation Sdn Bhd has been actively involved in public welfare activities. This cooperation with National Blood Center is a very meaningful CSR project. We hope to promote the importance of blood donation, and called on Malaysian to support and actively participate in the blood donation movement.” said the Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine Food Corporation Sdn Bhd, Mr. Lim Swee Keat.

“We will aim to contribute 25 tons of rice in 2017 to support this CSR project. We also hope that this project will attract more corporations or company to come onboard, to support or sponsor such healthy activities or movement as CSR project to contribute to our society.” Mr. Lim Swee Keat added.
