Jasmine Food has been producing quality rice and serving the nation for over 60 years. Our journey began in 1933 when our founder, Mr. Lim Chong Beng, emigrated from China and settled in Kedah, known as the "Rice Bowl of Malaysia."

 

He later established his first small rice mill in Kedah, laying the foundation for what would become one of Malaysia's most trusted rice brands. As the business continued to grow, our operations expanded from Kedah to Kuala Lumpur, and eventually to Shah Alam, where our headquarters, central warehouse and production facilities are located today.

 

Our wide range of products includes fragrant rice, basmati rice, local rice, imported white rice, specialty rice, brown rice, japonica rice, glutinous rice, rice vermicelli, instant rice cubes and coconut milk. Through BERNAS, we source premium rice from some of the world's leading rice-producing countries, including Thailand, Myanmar, China, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, and more. We are also among the first rice companies in Malaysia to achieve Halal and ISO certifications, reflecting our long-standing commitment to quality and excellence.
