Jasmine has been producing quality rice and serving the nation for over 60 years. In 1933, our founder Mr. Lim Chong Beng emigrated from China and settled in Kedah, the “Rice Bowl of Malaysia”.
Later, he established his first small rice mill in Kedah. Since then, the company has grown by leaps and bounds, relocating from Kedah to Kuala Lumpur and later on to Shah Alam where it established its central warehouse, production line and Headquarters.
Through BERNAS, Jasmine imports a wide variety of rice from Thailand, Myanmar, China, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Australia, and USA. We were one of the first to achieve Halal and ISO certifications and have since became a market leader in the rice industry, bagging many renowned awards.
Today, Jasmine is the leading brand in the rice industry in Malaysia. Our products include a vast range of high-quality rice including fragrant rice, basmathi rice, white rice (local and imported), specialty rice, brown rice, Calrose rice, glutinous rice, rice vermicelli, instant rice cubes, and coconut milk.
